Mrs. Mary YAYA KENFOY is a Research Officer at the Department of Political and Legal Studies of the National Center for Education. she obtained the following degrees in the University of Dschang: a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Sciences in (2000), a Maitrise in Common Law in (2001), a D.E.S.S (Diplômes d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées) in International Human Rights Law, University of Dschang in partnership with Université D’Evry Val D’Essonne – France, in (2004), a Master’s Degree in English Law, University of Yaoundé II Soa in (2016). She began her doctorate in (2020) in the University of Douala, working on “implementation of climate change rules in Central Africa”.
This academic realisation led to her recruitment in (2011) as a Research Assistant at the National Center for Education. The scientific career of Mrs. Mary YAYA was marked by her promotion to the rank of Research Officer in (2019). She has devoted herself more to research in writing terms of reference for projects, the preparation of data collection tools for projects, data analysis and report writing. Previously, she was Communication and administrative officer for the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA), Yaoundé where she assisted in organizing SCSA statutory meetings and All Africa Games in many countries (Nigeria, Mozambique, Zambia, Eritrea, Congo Brazzaville, Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa, and Addis Abeba). Also she was counsellor and adviser at Nouveaux Droit de L’homme Cameroun. Her scientific publications center around, constraints in ameliorating urban habitat in Cameroon, council and environmental protection, and an overview of crime in sub-Saharan Africa in the 21st century etc.
