Dr FOSSO SIMUN Reine

A native from North-West region, Ms Reine FOSSO SIMUN is a Researcher Officer at the Department of Social studies of the National Center for Education.  In (1996) she obtained her Ordinary levels at the ST Bede’s College Ashing kom and Adavance level in (1999) at Comprehensive high school Bambui.Her enrolling into the university of Yaoundé I, landed her the following degrees, Bachelor’s degree in (2004), Maitrise’ in medical Anthropology (2008), D.E.A medical in Anthropology (2011) and a Doctorate Ph.D in (2019) in which she looked at the coping strategy on refugees heath in the EAST Region of Cameroon.

This academic potential led her to her recruitment in 2011/2012 as a Research Assistant at the National Center for Education.  The scientific career of Dr Fosso Simun Reine brought about a promotion to the rank of Research Officer. She has devoted herself more to research in the elaboration of project Terms of Reference (TDR), Participation in many scientific working sessions organized by the CNE/Department, proposal writing (SND-30), coordination of fieldwork, analyzing data, reporting, and coordinating/supervising junior researchers. Also, she has also worked as Secretary of the association of Common Wealth Journalist, Research Assistant in a project sponsored by UNICEF, and research projects like; Violent conflicts, displacement of people and securing rural land in Cameroon (2023),  Etude sur la stratégie d’appropriation des mesures gouvernmentales de lutte contre le COVID-19 et analyse de leurs effets socio- économiques sur les populations au Cameroon (2020) and Etude de l’insertion de l’interculturalite dans le système scolaire au cameroun (2019).
